Galderma Forms Advisory Council to Support Women in Aesthetics

Galderma Laboratories LP announces the formation of the Women in Aesthetics Leadership Council.

The new multi-disciplinary group of advisory council members, comprised of distinguished current and future female leaders in the field of medical aesthetics, is committed to working together to empower women across the nation to succeed.

“In most industries in the US women hold just 25% of senior leadership positions, lagging significantly behind their male counterparts, while women in the healthcare field hold 49% of these top posts,” says Alisa Lask, vice president and general manager of the US Aesthetic Business, in a media release from Galderma.

“Our goal is to accelerate the trend of women holding leadership roles in medical societies, conducting clinical research, supporting training organizations, and to foster support for female-focused aesthetic business ownership.”

The Women in Aesthetics Leadership Council is comprised of clinicians, clinical trial investigators, CEOs, business owners, and practice managers. These current and emerging female leaders in the aesthetics industry recently served as expert consultants in a series of advisory boards in key markets across the country where Council members gave feedback on their experiences and ideas, offering insights that will guide the development of programs and resources to support female-led practices, businesses ,and research projects, the release continues.

“I am honored to be part of this select group of leaders who are passionate about increasing opportunities for women’s advancement in aesthetics,” states Sheila Nazarian, MD, MMM, founder of Nazarian Plastic Surgery.

“Our mission is to develop and share valuable approaches that open doors for a new generation of female leaders across the industry while also enhancing skill sets of members in this Council so that we all reach our greatest potential together,” she adds.

The foundation of the Women in Aesthetics Leadership Council is the first step in building a shared vision, collaborating to execute practical solutions and creating a strong roadmap for future leadership in medical aesthetics. Galderma’s focus on this initiative underscores its ongoing commitment to invest in innovations that drive meaningful and sustained impact for providers and ultimately enhance positive patient outcomes, the company notes in the release.

Galderma Labs Expands Collaborations Roster

Galderma Laboratories LP announces an expansion to its roster of collaborations in the US with professional-grade skincare brands, REVISION SKINCARE, ALASTIN Skincare, and SENTÉ, to bring additional value to aesthetic providers and their patients.

The expansion is a strategic move due largely to the proven success of Galderma’s long-standing, ongoing collaborations with Colorescience and Mentor Breast Implants, the company notes in a news release.

“Galderma strives to build new relationships within the aesthetic market and develop innovative marketing promotions to benefit our customers and their patients,” says Alisa Lask, vice president and general manager of Galderma’s US Aesthetic Business.

“Through these unique collaborations, aesthetic providers can now offer their patients a variety of premium skincare products along with their facial injectable treatments.”

The collaborations include certain Galderma aesthetic dermal fillers and physician-dispensed skincare products. With a qualifying purchase of Galderma dermal fillers, aesthetic injectors will receive the skincare products to offer to their patients to use as part of their ongoing beauty routine.

“The popularity of non-surgical treatments is rising and providing distinct offers to my patients is important because it allows me to deliver customized and memorable patient experiences,” states Dr Robyn Siperstein, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Siperstein Dermatology Group, the release continues.

“With Galderma’s new professional skincare brand collaborations, it allows me to focus on obtaining patient long-term loyalty and trust, as well as incentivizing my patients to come back for additional treatments and services.”

Consumers can learn about these offerings from participating aesthetic providers. In the future, Galderma is planning to leverage the one million members of the ASPIRE Galderma Rewards program to reach patients directly with unique benefits they can redeem from participating aesthetic providers.

ASPIRE Galderma Rewards is a loyalty program for consumers and aesthetic providers who use Galderma aesthetic injectable treatments, such as Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) for Injection, the Restylane family of fillers and Sculptra Aesthetic. To celebrate 1 million loyalists in less than 3.5 years, Galderma will announce the winner of a consumer sweepstakes for ASPIRE members this month, the company notes in a media release.

“As a company invested in growing the aesthetics market, we are thrilled to have a patient loyalty program with such an extensive reach in a short time,” says Alisa Lask, general manager & vice president of the US Aesthetic Business at Galderma. “Galderma plans to continue investing in the program by adding tools and resources to bring enhanced promotions, sharable social media content, and the ability for healthcare providers to leverage powerful big data analytics to drive growth in their practice.”
